Error Code P0014
Exhaust Camshaft Position Timing Over-Advanced or System Performance.
? What Causes This
Misalignment of the exhaust camshaft with respect to timing or internal faults in the system's control module.
✓ How to Fix It
- Clear fault codes and recheck using KDS.
- Confirm vehicle selection, select Engine, and press OK to scan for fault codes.
- Return to home screen and select Data Analysis.
- Bring engine oil to operating temperature (>230°F).
- Slowly rev the engine from idle to 4000 RPM and back to idle while monitoring camshaft angles. Ensure the difference is less than 5 degrees.
