How do I stop the charging process at any time?

Press and hold the charge/voltage button for three seconds to return the unit to Standby Mode. When disconnecting the charger, disconnect the AC cord first, remove the clamp from the vehicle chassis, and then remove the clamp from the battery terminal. (Page 2)
