What warranty does the BC40BE come with, and what is not covered?

The BC40BE comes with a limited two-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship from the date of purchase. The warranty does not cover accessories, bulbs, fuses, batteries, normal wear and tear, accidents, damage during shipping, unauthorized repairs or modifications, negligence, abuse, or failure to follow care and maintenance instructions. Defective products within the warranty period can be returned to the manufacturer for repair or replacement, or exchanged at a participating retailer. (Page 2)
