What is the frost protection function and when does it activate?

When the chronothermostat is off, the frost protection function remains active even though the display shows OFF. If the room temperature falls below the frost protection temperature (fixed at 5°C by default), the flame icon will appear together with the word OFF to indicate that heating is engaged.
