How do I clean the ice storage bin?

Turn off the ice maker, then remove the ice storage bin by lifting up and out. Empty it and carefully clean it with mild detergent, rinse with clear water, and allow it to dry completely before replacing it. Never use an ice pick or sharp instrument to break up ice, as this could damage the bin and dispenser mechanism. (Page 20)
