How do I replace the water filter and how often should it be done?

You should change the water filter every 6 months or after 125 gallons of water have been dispensed. To replace it, turn off the ice maker, push on the end of the filter to release it, slide out the old cartridge, slide in the new one until it clicks, then press and hold the Water Filter reset button for 3 seconds until the display changes from red to green. The water filter is located at the top right side of the refrigerator compartment. (Page 23)
