How do I add a forgotten dish after the cycle has already started?

A forgotten dish can be added any time before the main wash begins. Push the door latch to the left, wait for the water to calm, then open the door — be aware that steam may rise out. Add the forgotten dish, close the door, and push the latch to the far right to resume the cycle. (Page 7)
