How do I lock the dishwasher controls to prevent children from accidentally starting it?

Touch the LOCK pad twice within 3 seconds to make all pads inoperative. This prevents children from accidentally starting the dishwasher by touching pads. To unlock the dishwasher, touch the LOCK pad twice again within 3 seconds, and the light above the LOCK pad will turn off. (Page 5)
