What should I do if my dishwasher won't drain?

First check if you have an air gap and clean it if necessary, then check to see if your kitchen sink is draining well (you may need a plumber if it isn't). If the dishwasher drains into a disposer, run the disposer clear. An air gap is located at the top of the drain line connection and can be cleaned by lifting off the chrome cover and unsccrewing the plastic cap to clean with a toothpick. (Pages 16, 20)
