What water temperature is required for the dishwasher to clean effectively?
The entering water must be at least 120°F and not more than 150°F for effective cleaning and to prevent dish damage. You can check the water temperature using a candy or meat thermometer by running hot water from the nearest faucet into a glass until the temperature stops rising. If the temperature is below 120°F, raise the water heater temperature accordingly. (Page 12)
