How do I install the water filter in my bottom freezer refrigerator?

Open the filter cartridge housing by squeezing the front tabs and pulling down, then line up the ports on the filter with the ports on the holder and gently insert it. Slowly turn the filter to the right until it stops (about ¼ turn or 90 degrees) without over-tightening, then push it up into the clips and close the housing by pushing the lid upwards until the tabs lock. After installation, you must purge the filter and reset the filter change indicator.

What should I do if water is not flowing after I install the filter?

Ensure the filter is fully rotated to the right and properly seated in the holder. If water still does not flow, double-check that the filter has been completely turned to the right until it stops.
