No, you must never use a lap-only seat belt when in booster mode. Only use the lap/shoulder seat belt configuration, with the lap belt positioned low across your child's hips and thighs and the shoulder belt lying across the shoulder between the neck and edge of shoulder. (Pages 12-14)
