How do I properly ground the XP Proportioner to prevent fire or electric shock?

Use the Motor Ground Wire (Z) and clamp supplied to ground the primary motor, and connect the supply ground wire in the electrical compartment. Use only static dissipation type hoses with a maximum of 300 ft (91 m) combined hose length to ensure grounding continuity. If total resistance to ground exceeds 29 megohms, replace the hose immediately. To maintain grounding continuity when flushing or relieving pressure, hold the metal part of the spray gun firmly to the side of a grounded metal pail, then trigger the gun. (Page 21)
