What precautions must be taken when working with isocyanates (ISO) to prevent moisture contamination?

Always use a sealed container with a desiccant dryer in the vent, or a nitrogen atmosphere, and never store ISO in an open container. Keep the ISO pump wet cup or reservoir filled with appropriate lubricant to create a barrier between the ISO and the atmosphere, and use only moisture-proof hoses compatible with ISO.
