What should I check to ensure the car seat is properly installed?

The car seat should not move more than 1 inch (2.5 cm) at the belt path when properly installed. Additionally, harness straps should be at or just above the child's shoulders, the chest clip should be even with the armpits, and you should not be able to pinch the harness straps at the shoulder.
