Yes, but you must remove the center filler cap and close any edge lid opening intended for pouring. Do not exceed the 2-cup (473 ml) level, and with the protection of an oven mitt or thick towel, place one hand on top of the lid and start blending at the lowest speed. Hot liquids may push off the lid during blending, so keep exposed skin away from the lid. (Page 3)
