Why won't my blender start or why does it keep stopping?

First, make sure the Power Switch Button is ON (I) and illuminated blue, and that the unit is securely plugged into an outlet of the proper voltage and frequency. The appliance also has an interlock feature that will prevent it from starting or cause it to stop if the lid or jar are not locked properly in place. You should also check if the fuse has blown or if the Reset Button on the bottom rear of the base has switched to OFF. (Page 11)
