Why did my blender stop running and show a flashing red light?

A flashing red light on the Motor Temperature Status Indicator means motor overload protection has engaged. Unplug the appliance and allow it to cool for approximately 15 minutes, then press the Reset button on the bottom of the Base and plug it back in to restart blending.
