How do I set the programmable humidistat?

The programmable humidistat can be set in 5% increments, ranging from 35% to 55% humidity, or left at the default CO (continuous on) setting. Press the humidistat button to increase the humidity level by 5% each time. The humidifier will turn off when the set humidity level is reached and turn back on when humidity drops 5% below your setting. (Page 7)
