What should I do if the humidifier produces no mist?

Check that the unit is plugged in and turned on, and that the water tank is filled. The transducer/ultrasonic membrane may need cleaning, or the humidistat may be set lower than the current room humidity — reset it to a higher level or switch to continuous on. If the water outlet valve needs cleaning, follow steps 1–7 of the Cleaning the Transducer/Ultrasonic Membrane instructions. (Page 12)
