What should I do if there is no mist coming from the spout?

Check if the unit is plugged in and turned on, verify the water level is adequate, and ensure the transducer/ultrasonic membrane is clean. If the humidistat is set lower than the current room humidity, reset it to a higher humidity setting or change to continuous on mode. You may also need to clean the water outlet valve following the cleaning instructions in the manual.
