Can I wash the HEPA filters or pre-filter to extend their life?
No — none of the filters are washable, and you should not immerse them in water, as washing either filter will ruin it. When it is time to replace them, use Genuine Honeywell Replacement Filters to ensure stated product performance. (Page 7-8)
