How do I remove and install the filters before first use?

Before using your new air purifier, you must remove the protective wrappers from the filters. Make sure the unit is OFF and unplugged, then press the two hand symbols on the front grille to release it and pull the grille toward you. Remove the filters, unwrap them, place the Certified HEPA filter(s) back in the housing with the pull tabs facing outward, then place the pre-filter on top and tuck its edges into the tabs around the frame.
