Can I wash the Pre-Filter or HEPA Filter to clean them?

No, the Pre-Filter and HEPA Filters are not washable and should not be vacuumed or immersed in water, as washing the filters will ruin them. When the filters need cleaning, they should be replaced with genuine Honeywell replacement filters. Avoid breathing dust when changing filters, as filters may be harmful if ingested. (Page 8 & 10)
