How should I store the air purifier if I won't use it for more than 30 days?

Remove the HEPA and Pre-Filter cartridge from the unit and wrap both cartridges in an air-tight plastic bag. Additionally, clean the air purifier at least once every 3 months using only a dry cloth on external surfaces—do not use water, wax, polish, or any chemical solution. (Page 10)
