What are VOCs and why does my air purifier react to them?
Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) are gases emitted from various solids and liquids such as paints, cleaning supplies, building materials, and permanent markers. The HPA830's VOC sensor constantly monitors room air quality, and in Auto Mode, the unit will automatically adjust the cleaning level when higher VOC levels are detected. (Page 6 and Page 10)
