How often should I replace the batteries in my T6 Pro thermostat?

You should replace the batteries once a year, or before leaving home for more than a month, even if the low battery icon has not appeared. Install fresh batteries immediately when the low battery icon appears, as it shows up approximately two months before the batteries are fully depleted. Alkaline AA batteries are recommended. (Page 6)
