How do I troubleshoot horizontal banding in my prints?

Horizontal banding, which appears as light or dark lines especially in high-density ink areas, can be reduced by printing in Best mode rather than Fast or Normal mode. To solve banding issues, run the Troubleshooting Procedure from the Ink menu on the front panel, which will check printhead alignment and print diagnostic patterns to identify the cause. Note that some degree of banding can occur in Fast and Normal modes when printing high-density prints. (Page 82)
