What precautions should I follow when handling print media such as film and glossy paper?

Handle film and glossy paper by the edges only, or wear cotton gloves, as skin oils can interact with the ink and cause it to smear. Unused rolls should be kept in their plastic wrappings to prevent discoloration, and partially used rolls should be rewrapped when not in use. Colors will eventually fade or change if prints are exposed to sunlight over a long period of time. (Page 28)
