What precautions should I take when handling printheads?

Do not touch, wipe, or attempt to clean the printhead nozzles, as this can damage the printhead. Never put the printhead down on its nozzles, avoid rough handling, and always set printheads down gently to ensure optimum performance throughout printhead life. Do not drop the printheads, and do not touch the end of the ink cartridge inserted into the printer as there may be a small amount of ink on the connection. (Page 51)
