What safety precautions should I take when replacing an ink cartridge?

Make sure the printer wheels are locked (the brake lever is pressed down) to prevent the printer from moving during cartridge replacement. Do not replace cartridges while the printer is printing, as doing so will cancel the current print job. You should only remove an ink cartridge if you are replacing it. (Page 62)
