You can set up fax using the HP printer software (recommended) or the printer control panel. On Windows, use the Fax Wizard during software installation, or open the HP printer software afterward, go to the Fax tab, and select Fax Setup Wizard. On OS X, use Basic Fax Settings in HP Utility after installation, or on the control panel, touch Fax on the Home screen and then touch Setup. (Page 2)
