What water temperature does my dishwasher need to work properly?

Water entering the dishwasher should be at least 120°F for satisfactory results, and improved performance can be obtained by raising the temperature to 140°F. Water temperature should not exceed 160°F. To check, run the hot water faucet nearest the dishwasher for several minutes and measure with a candy or meat thermometer. (Page 9)
