How often should I remove lint from the exhaust vent and dryer interior?

Lint should be removed every 2 years, or more often, depending on dryer usage. Cleaning should be done by a qualified appliance servicer or ventilation system cleaner. Additionally, you should use the shortest length of vent possible and use no more than four 90° elbows in a vent system. (Page 13)
