What is covered under the Maytag dryer warranty, and how long does coverage last?

For the first year from the date of purchase, Maytag will pay for factory specified parts and repair labor to correct defects in materials or workmanship. From the second through tenth year, Maytag will pay for factory specified parts only (labor not included) for the drum side walls and drive motor. The warranty does not cover service caused by improper venting, misuse, accident, unauthorized modifications, or cosmetic damage not reported within 30 days. (Page 18)
