How do I clean the door seal on my front-loading washer?

Open the washer door and inspect the gray-colored seal for stained areas or soil buildup by pulling back the seal to check all areas. You can clean it using either an affresh® Grit Grabber™ Cloth on the rough side, or a dilute bleach solution made with 3/4 cup (177 mL) of liquid chlorine bleach and 1 gallon (3.8 L) of warm water, letting it stand for 5 minutes before wiping dry. Always wear rubber gloves when cleaning with bleach. (Page 13)
