What is the Fresh Hold® option and how does it work?

The Fresh Hold® option periodically tumbles the load after the end of a cycle for up to 16 hours while an integrated fan circulates air through the washer to reduce humidity and prevent odors. With the washer on, press the Fresh Hold® button to activate it, or activate it without running a cycle by pressing and holding for 3 seconds and then pressing START/PAUSE. Note that the door will lock while Fresh Hold® is active, and this option is not available if the spin speed is set to No Spin. (Page 5, 6)
