The 'Sud' error code indicates excessive suds in the washer and the washer is running a suds reduction routine. Allow the washer to continue running. Use only HE detergent, always measure detergent based on load size, and follow the detergent manufacturer's instructions. You can also press WATER HARDNESS to change it to 'soft.' Press POWER/CANCEL once to clear the code, then again to restart.
