Why is my dryer taking too long to dry clothes?

Several issues can cause long drying times, including a clogged lint screen, a blocked or kinked exhaust vent, an incorrect vent diameter (should be 4"/102 mm), or the Energy Saver option being turned on (which adds approximately 40 minutes). The dryer also requires temperatures above 45°F (7°C) for proper operation. (Pages 15–16)
