Why is rinse aid important and how do I add it?

Rinse aid is essential for good drying performance; without it your dishes and dishwasher interior will have excessive moisture. To add rinse aid, turn the dispenser cap counterclockwise and lift off, then pour rinse aid into the opening until the indicator window looks full. Replace the cap and turn clockwise to ensure it is fully locked. For most water conditions, the factory setting of 2 will give good results.
