How should I select the correct welding cable size for my application?

Cable size is based on the total combined length of both welding cables — for example, if the unit is 30m from the workpiece, the total circuit length is 60m. Use the cable selection table in the manual to find the correct AWG size based on welding current and duty cycle. If cables overheat, use the next larger size. (Page 13)
