How do I measure my heart rate on the Audiostrider 990?

Hold the pulse sensor handgrip with the palms of your hands resting on the metal plates, avoiding excessive hand movement or gripping too tightly. Once your pulse is detected, your heart rate will appear on screen; hold the plates for at least 15 seconds for a more accurate reading. For best performance, clean the metal plates with a soft cloth — never use alcohol, abrasive products, or chemicals on the plates.
