When should I replace the HEPA/Carbon filter and how do I do it?

The Replace Filter light (Fan Speed 1 light) glows yellow after 6 months as a reminder to change the filter, and turns red after 1 year when you must change it. To replace: turn off and unplug the unit, take it outside or to a well-ventilated area, wear a mask and rubber gloves, open the Filter Access Lid, remove the old filter into a garbage bag, unwrap and insert the new filter, close the lid, and press and hold Power for 2 short beeps to reset the light to white.
