How do I replace the battery in my 27894 sprinkler timer?

Open the battery compartment by sliding the battery tray out to the right. Insert one CR2032 lithium battery with the + side facing up, then slide the tray back into place. The battery should be replaced annually to avoid loss of programming during power failures. A weak or missing battery will cause the time, date, and program to be erased after a power loss.
