How do I set up Pioneer Smart Sync with my iPhone or Android device?

Go to the main menu, select [SYSTEM], then [APP CONTROL], and choose either [WIRED] for USB connection or [BLUETOOTH] for a Bluetooth connection. Then select [AUTO APP CONN] and set it to [ON] so that Pioneer Smart Sync launches automatically when your device is connected. Pioneer Smart Sync is compatible with iOS 10.3 or later for iPhone, and Android OS 5.0 or later for Bluetooth connections. (Page 26)
