What USB error messages might I see and what do they mean?

Common USB error messages include [N/A USB] (connected USB device is not supported), [HUB ERROR] (USB devices connected via a hub are not supported — connect directly), [CHECK USB] (the USB connector or cable has short-circuited or the device is drawing too much current), and [ERROR-23] (USB device was not formatted properly and should be formatted with FAT12, FAT16, or FAT32). For [CHECK USB], disconnect the device, turn the ignition OFF and back to ACC or ON, and only reconnect compliant USB devices. (Page 41)
