How do I properly clean the glass cooktop surface?

Use only a ceramic cooktop cleaner — apply a few drops directly to the cooktop, then use a paper towel or ceramic cooktop cleaning pad to clean the entire surface. Use a dry cloth or paper towel to remove all cleaning residue; no rinsing is needed. Do not use abrasive cleansers, scouring pads other than those recommended, or chlorine bleach, as these can scratch or damage the glass surface. (Page 38)
