How do I clean the debris filter on the Wf42H5000Aw/A2?

Unplug the washing machine, gently press the filter cover to open, pull the drain tube to the front, turn the drain cap counterclockwise to separate it, drain remaining water, turn the debris cap counterclockwise and pull it out, wash dirt from the filter, then reinsert and turn the debris cap clockwise until the indicator points to 12 o'clock. Re-attach the emergency drain cap and reinstall the filter cover. (Page 29)
