What is the Child Lock feature and how do I activate it?

The Child Lock feature prevents children from playing with the washer by locking the control panel. To activate it, press and hold both the Soil Level and Spin buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds, which will lock the door and illuminate the Child Lock lamp. When activated, none of the buttons will work except the Power button. (Page 22)
