How do I protect my safe from moisture and humidity damage?

Place a moisture/protective barrier between the safe and any concrete floor, and install the safe in a climate-controlled location when possible. SA Consumer Products strongly encourages the use of an internal dehumidifier and/or desiccants to protect contents from rust or mildew, noting that internal dehumidifiers should not be in direct contact with the side or back walls. Never place the safe in direct contact with a wet floor, as failure to take precautions may void the warranty. (Page 10)
